One thing I am a little bit disappointed in is that they renamed Kaleidoscope to Scrambler, but I'll live. I never saw that on the website..

Let's just say bgwfreak's pics and comments are being nice and don't do justice for how bad looking it really is: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/vi ... =2&t=54638 (pics and comments for old dora/snoopy junction are halfway down in first post)

-I really hope it's not the finished product either. No theming except for the painted train, ride signage, and a lone windmill. They went in, cut down a bunch of trees, and just left it looking like crap. There are weeds and mud everywhere. The sod they put down last year is now all dead too. The ride looks like a joke. Thankfully everything else in Planet Snoopy looks GREAT.

I thought there was plenty of theming in Snoopy Junction.

Pretty sad, but considering everything else the park accomplished in two weeks, no need to complain. I'm sure they'll come back to it.

But they seem to not care about any plant life form. The park seems to have lost 50 percent of vegetation. Its very noticable around the covered path, the "carowinds" sign inside the park and the planet snoopy entrance by the flyers.

Well, atleast the locomotive looks better. Carowinds should quit removing trees.

"But they seem to not care about any plant life form."

Dani said that Bart doesn't like trees in the way of seeing rides and that he had lots of trees either slimmed or removed.

I'll be there Friday (Can't wait), to finally get my ride on Intimidator. I was going to hit up Swamp Fox this weekend, but we ended up watching the WVU/UK game at Mellow Mushroom and were late getting to the park and they closed :(.

She mentioned it a few times, especially when showing trees that had been removed (some after the covered walkway towards Vortex. Apparetnly he also liked the name Scrambler better. Because, you know, no sense in being unique. I made the comment that Shade is a good thing and that more trees in the park hiding the coasters is nice, and Dani said he felt the exact opposite, so he's removing trees.

I know how to respond to that...that's some EFFIN' B.S.!! No one wants to walk in a park and see everything up front, no trees and shade is a very bad thing in my opinion. Over by hurler looks really bad. Not third world country bad but its very bare. I hope someone would let him know that he should leave the trees alone. Its not like its an overfrown forrest blocking the coaster trains from completing the course. I'm sure he would have a heart attack if he ever visits BGW or animal kingdom...
