That IS Dueling Dragons. The new area will include the old Lost Continent area. The family coaster is Flying Unicorn, which has been closed for some time for the makeover. So, the only true new ride is whatever is inside Hogwarts, which is still under wraps it seems.

I think the concept art looks stunning, but I really don't see the final product being anywhere close to it. However, it IS Universal, and everything they have done has been fantastic, so I'll be optimistic. Including all of those Hogsmeade shops is brilliant, and I bet they will rake in money from them.

I heard about this about a year and a half ago. I think its a good idea, lots of people are HUGE Harry Potter fans. I like it, but I'm not obsessed. I haven't even seen the 6th movie yet.

Anyway, I think this will be a nice money maker as well.

I was actually kind of disappointed when I found out that two of the three "new" coasters were just going to be re-themes.

I didn't know that, though. I found out by happenstance last week when i noticed on google earth that there wasn't much room for 3 new coasters, haha.

judging that my sources are wikipedia and people that work at IOA, i cannot honestly say that i am 100% sure. whatever it is, it's supposed to be something that's never been done, according to the Mark Woodbury.

They had a better desription on Themeparkinsider.com:

The ride itself starts in the queue. Like Poseidon's Fury and many of the movie attractions at US next door, you will go room to room before you get on the ride itself. The ride itself is the Kuka robot arm (robocoaster) where you get safety instructions along the tour. Read more in the article linked above. It's much more acurate than Wki.

This is an example of the Kuka robocoaster:

I got these pictures about halfway down the page of this website:http://www.screamscape.com/html/islands_of_adventure.htm
They're a couple of years old, though.

It looks like it's just a track ride, although the robocoaster name and what seems to be a lift hill throw a bone to roller coaster. However, i'm sure it would have been listed on RCDB if it were.
