Went back this morning and rode 3 times before leaving a little after 10:30. The queue was pretty much filled, but the single rider line was nearly empty. That thing is great.

On another note, Platinum Passes from other parks still don't work! There was a family behind me with them from Kings Island, and we were all given the runaround before finally getting into the park 10 minutes after opening once the line for Intimidator had filled up. I sent a comment to the park about it, so hopefully I'll hear back soon. Has anyone else come from another Cedar Fair park with a Platinum Pass and had this problem?

You should hear back from them about your comment Jonathan, they called me back pretty quickly after my comment about the season pass fiasco I experienced last season (where I got accused of sneaking into the park and was escorted out, physically, when I was just trying to process my newly purchased platinum pass). They were very polite and told me that they had fixed their policies to never treat a guest in the same manner again, which was enough to make me happy.

Pass gives an error at the parking booth and at the ticket booth it brings up no photo or personal information. Then you have to go to admission services for a little bit and after they look at you like you are inconveniencing them for a while (god forbid I try to use my $160 pass to get in) they eventually giving you a day ticket.

How has Six Flags, who seemingly can't do much right, been doing season passes perfectly for years while Paramount/Cedar Fair can't figure it out?

I guess this is for another topic, though.

Yeah, I've had my SFOG pass work perfectly at SFA and SFKK, and neither park was exactly the cream of the crop in operations otherwise. SFA was back in 2002, come to think of it. Not sure what's going on with Cedar Fair here.

Went today (easter sunday) got there early trying to avoid crowds was not busy at all, got in 7 rides. Had to wait 5 min between rides, the ops did a awesome job getting everyone on and off the ride. The first trim was not on at all, that i could feel. However the second trim, first trim after turnaround was grabbing pretty hard. It may have just been me, but the mcbr was seemed to barely slow the train down at all.

I did notice on the diving spiral that paint was already coming off the track.

My thought to add to the ride is, they should put a big tree or something in the middle of the diving spiral to speed around.

Wow I probaly shoulda went today. I was worried about the season pass line though as my 6 year old hasnt gotten her pass made yet. Oh well, I will be there tomorrow. Hopefully my mom will be able to come so I can at least ride Intimidator once, cant leave my kids alone so i can ride. I think something in the helix at the end would be nice, not really sure about a tree but maybe a dale earnhardt statue or a car statue or something? How about a stand that has a guy holding a checkered flag  Oh well. Cant wait to go tomorrow and let my kids have fun, my 3 year old is very excited.

I was there today from 3:30-5:30 and I though the crew was fantastic. I got in 11 rides and barely waited at all. I was very impressed how the crew kept pushing the line through as quickly as possible even when wait times were down under 10 minutes.

Speaking of the crew, I can't count how many times in the last 2 weekends, I have heard the crew needing to explain to someone in the single rider line why they can't ride with their friend and getting push back. It clearly states single rider line and that just doesn't seem like a very difficult concept to understand.

I didn't get a high five today :(
I went around 4 today, mostly to ride other rides I haven't ridden yet this season like drop tower, ricochet, and some others. I got to Intimidator around 5:40 and got to ride it twice, once in row 3 and then in row 11. The last ride we were the 2nd to last train and when we returned to the station there was no one in line so everyone on the ride was yelling "one more!" but they didn't let us :( . oh well. The ride was good today though, both trims were on, the second seemed to slow the train down a good bit.

Blue can you comment on the trims? I would imagine they are entirely computer controlled with no human input... set at some arbitrarily low level by B&M. Does the ride turn them off in 2 train mode only? (they were off last sunday with 2 train op)
