Since we're all going to be riding Borg sometime soon, I am wondering which part of the train will be considered the best to ride? At first I would think front, because of the view, but I'm also thinking the back because of the "whip" effect you get. Anyone have any opinions? We'll hear for sure hopefully on Saturday night when some of you come back I hope...

To me, view isn't as important on a flying coaster as on other coasters since your focus is straight down most of the time anyway. I rode X-Flight in the back, and Batwing near the front, and I liked Batwing a lot better, so from very very limited experience, I'm thinking front heh. We'll see though...

With it being a Vekoma, I don't know that we'll need anymore of a whip effect (from riding in the back) than were going to get anyway. I'm riding in the front.

I've only ridden Batwing once, and that was towards the front. We rode Superman towards the front as well, so I'm not sure how the back is on flyers.

I'll tell you though, I love the back on Top Gun. It feels like someone is just pulling you through that loop, it's a cool sensation. Whereas I hate the back on Alpengeist, because it's too fast.

So I'm leaning towards back, but as I stated I haven't ridden in the back on a flyer yet.

I liked Alpengeist on the front at night. That first hill drop is so fast man :o

I'm gonna say back is gonna be best for Borg, just because the back (for me at least) tends to be the best place to ride. It's kind of like since we're looking down at the ground, you dont really get to see the track in front of you so...might as well ride the back where it's a little faster feelin.

Well for me, it will be both. Then which is the best.

uhh..... does it matter on a flying coaster?? i mean you get the same veiw from each row.

anyway i think it'll be the back, the back is best on most coasters, it feels like your getting puled.

Yeah your right, you can see the veiw from any seat. I would change my answer to the back because you get double extra effects!! ;)

Yea I'm probably gonna go with back on this one too, although I do love the front.

I am riding 2nd or 3rd row, as I can't stand the Cyclone if I'm farther back than the 3rd car.

for cyclone the back is the absolute best, it is WAY smoother than the front.

lol, see this is the kind of stuff we need added onto the site! Rider reviews and an "insider" word on where to sit on each ride. We've mentioned some of this I'm sure in the Suggestion thread at the top of the forum.

Go ride Superman Ultimate Flight at SFOG and see for yourself. The back row in the Pretzel loop is the best feeling in the world. Front is okay but not as powerful as the back. Besides, its a funny feeling to be in the back row and see the front row dive down below ya. I can't wait to see the visuals on Borg Assimilator in the loop.

Yeah I'm definitely gonna go for back I think. I always hate how in the front, when you top the lift hill, you slowly go down it because the backend isnt off the lift yet; whereas if you are in the back, you dont' wait on anybody, as soon as you get off the lift, you get whipped straight down.
