1. I like the name "Intrimidator" for our new ride experience. I'll be using that from now on.

2. I like your profile photo Wormy.

3. Neither of the two trims is necessary coasteraddict. Like I said, the coaster floats over every hill anyways pretty slowly, at no point is there even a possibility or risk of negative g's that would be painful, hence the collective "sigh" every time those things hit.

this particular phrase has been corrupted more than once in this forum. Just so you yungins' know, it's "for all intents and purposes". Now, spell it right or don't use it!! .....calm down, I'm kidding

Now, back to the trims in question.

Thanks swamp fox for pointing that out. Somehow through all of my education (currently a Senior in college) with a high GPA I've never had a teacher correct me on that. Learn something new every day. Now I feel stupid.

I tend to get off Intimidator thinking "That was great, but....".

Intimidator needs an extra bit of oomph, a few more MPH, and it'd be superb. Obviously it's still breaking in and we haven't seen the really good weather for it yet. Yes, it's been hot some days, but not consistently hot. I know how Afterburn will typically be in the "really good but not great" category this time of year, then when it heats up that little boost in speed takes it over the top.

I haven't ridden in a couple of weeks so can't comment on how the trims are affecting things in that regard, but it doesn't sound like a good trend. Of course trims can be vastly different even on consecutive rides on other coasters as the computer does it's thing, and there are going to be lots of adjustments, so it's certainly no time to panic.

Does anyone if they will or have changed the wheels on the trains to a diff. type? I thought they could change the type of wheel for faster speeds or slower speeds. I am sure weather and all kinds of other variables factor in as well.

I am curious to how it's gonna run when july 4th rolls around when it's 100+ degrees outside.

It was a great day today at the park, I went for 2 hours or so and got a couple rides, even with 2 trains very fast moving line. Good to see you again Anthony, I was in the green ACE shirt that waved to you and you said something like hello sir on the mic. When I came back for more you were gone. Might make a trip back tomorrow or sunday because of the weather and hopefully no crowds, we'll see. Nevertheless, great time at the park for a couple of hours!

Today was nothing compared to last Friday. Not as many school groups, that's for sure.

By the way, I did notice an ACE shirt a couple times today. I don't remember what color it was though. Or I saw a few. I do remember starting conversations with people wearing a Voyage shirt and a Kingda Ka shirt though.

Also, if any of you were there in the morning at open........... Well, there was some ERT for like 20 minutes since it was so empty. :)

Don't forget we open one hour earlier on Fridays until May 28th. 9am instead of 10am.

I couldn't help myself - that one popped into my head and I had to use it.
