This has to be the stupidest looking thing ever, lol...check out Borg's competition in the flying ranks this year (edit- it opened in '02, oh well. hah). This ride doesn't even let you put your arms out!! Check out these pics. Is this ride supposed to be any good- it looks like it'd go real slow.

lol, no kidding. That thing looks so ridiculous. I think we got very lucky with Borg as it is in a way. Although something taller/faster/longer wouldn't have been bad either.

Actually, I think that is the intent. Close curves and lots of supports to weave around. I think it is more of a family flyer with close call thrills rather than focusing on flight and bigger thrills. Much in the way you feel that your car is going off the track around the corners on Wild Mice coasters. Then again, it may just suck.

Those Zamperla Flyers look like something you would see at a big county fair, or a small beach side water park. It sure does not compare with Vekoma or B&M's version!

I rode Superman: THe Ultimate flight in Six Fleags over Georgia and it was as fun as hell and Ive been on a lot of coasters - and superman only had like 2 or 3 inverions - Borg has 8! I'm goin opening day wherin my favorite rollercoasters shirt, hypersonic xlc in kings dominion that is an awesome ride - - 0-80 mph in
1.8 seconds!!!! Holy <Another colorful metaphor> that was soo fun. if u hav a carowinds pass, i suggest u go there its only a few hours away, also volcano is a fun ride to - shoots u verical out of a volcano, fun as <one more>! Anyway the best ride at carowinds is Thunder road!!! YEA and hurler is fun too.

You sure are calling out a bunch of people. I don't know what or to whom your post is directed towards but you need to understand a few things! First off this thread has nothing to do with Superman Ultimate Flight at SFOG. It's about the Zamperla Flying Coaster. Second, don't believe everything you read in print. Borg Assimilator does not have 8 inversions. Third, learn how to spell you freaking idiot!

Oh yeah, I don't know how smart it is to tell everyone what you'll be wearing at PC. You have just called a lot of us some very unfortunate names. Always look over your shoulder

If you made it 20 feet tall and took out the zero-g rolls, it would be a family flying coaster.

I guess we got lucky getting the borg *** before they could slap a zamperla on us. Just look at how lucky we got with TG! Vekoma SLC 689m's SUCK! They are too rough and lack a key element to a good ride; a verticle loop.
