It is to my understanding that Cedar Fair does not like Thunder Road to run backwards. Not just Thunder Road but also Rebal Yell, and all the similar coasters. I understand waiting untill the "rehab" is complete but how about we start a petition to let one side run backwards again, maybe get new trains that are designed to do so. I Justin Rickner am the first to sign this.

It wasn't Cedar Fair's call with the racing forwards/backwards coasters. PTC literally told Cedar Fair that they would not sign off on their trains and send them back after rehabbing them if they kept running them backwards. PTC really hates their trains running backwards, so much that they actually make it known that the trains are "designed to run forward" and deny all liability or accountability if anything happens to them while running backwards. Hope that helps clear up the misconception on this issue.

I appreciate that people care this much, but I've yet to see an online petition that actually worked.
