I agree. It's not worth it to have a ride themed to the Panthers/Bobcats; not only because they both suck, but because the licensing would cost so much. A clever idea, no doubt... But it's just not worth it in this case.

In the same manner of thinking though, I'd like to see a ride themed to something local... Perhaps the Cherokee tribe, the Outer Banks*, the Charlotte Skyline**, or the Smoky Mountains?

*This would work well in the Boardwalk area
** Retheme Nighthawk and add in "skyscrapers" replicating those in Charlotte

One can dream, right? :)

^Those are some interesting ideas, bring the Carolina back to Carowinds.

I had an idea long ago for a coaster called "Biltmore Blast" which would be like a launched floorless kind of Hulk type ride and the station would look like a scaled down version of the Biltmore House in Asheville. Now that I think about it THAT would probably require a licensing fee as well. :(

This might be the dumbest picture I've ever created.

Huss is not the only manufacturer of things..

Well everytime this thread comes up it seems (to me) like HUSS HUSS HUSS HUSS S&S HUSS HUSS. I'm doing my part to establish equality for the rest of the flat ride manufactures, as they are just as worthy. :)

Maybe we should have a public vote of a new flat ride, and not on carowinds connection. I was thinking about a vote box at carowinds itself, maybe at the entrance?

Only until Sunday, Jay...

I agree, I would like to see some Zamperla love as well as even some Chance love. There are lots of great flats out there, and Carowinds could use a nice flat ride package like SFoT got that one year.

Intimidator's licensing is different than the former Paramount (and even Scooby Doo) Licensing because it was a license CF went after. CF has had Snoopy licensing for quite a while. They'll pay fees that they want to pay for. I doubt they pay as much for Snoopy & Intimidator combined as what they were paying for the Nick stuff.
