Arrived at the park at around 10:30, rode nighthawk first. Line was already long (about 45 minutes) and, while I love the part when you flip over and drop, the rest of the ride was very very rough. I think I enjoyed it overall. Has it gotten rougher recently? I don't visit the park enough to know for sure. Back in the early 2000's, I visited the park every year, but in the last couple of years before Intimidator, I really saw no reason to spend the money every summer. Anyway, after the ride on nighthawk, I was craving the glassy smoothness of B&M. Intimidator was nearly a walk on... line was 4 minutes max throughout the day. Every ride, except for nighthawk, was or was nearly a walk on. It was nice that there weren't many guests at the park, but not so nice that it was 95 degrees all day long. Intimidator was breathtaking, and every other positive adjective I could possibly think of. Rode it 4 times: once in the front, once in row 4, and twice in the very back, on the left side. The lift hill pullover and airtime on the hills is just spectacular. Only once did the trim bite hard, and yet, in the back, the ride was still very good. Between the Intimidator rides, I rode cobra, cyclone, vortex, thunder road (left), afterburn, and many turns on the flyers. Carolina cobra's cobra roll was very rough but otherwise the ride was enjoyable....except for the horrifying BO from the last occupant of my seat. I still feel like I can't completely wash it off. I miss Déjà vu. My headache began with cobra and it seemed every coaster thereafter compounded it. I find cyclone to be a bit more enjoyable, but it seems afterburn has gotten quite a bit rougher in the middle. The front row was still fantastic, however. Thunder road is almost a whole new ride and was excellent in the new areas. Vortex... well.. you know how that was. I had some incredible snaps on flyer #10. The best ever, as far as I can remember. I always get the best snaps when I quickly shift my weight to the left when turning downward. On two separate occasions I collided with the flyer behind me. I forgot how great the short period of acceleration was right before you reach the highest point. I rode intimidator again, and then left. While there was some unpleasantness from the heat, the park was very clean and nearly empty. I really can't say anything about Intimidator that you guys haven't already said. It is what it is.

whew I am sunburned!

I will be back as soon as possible. Great job, Cedar Fair! :D

Unfortunately (fortunately?) I had to leave around 4PM to get other things done yesterday, but I saw the powerful storm from Concord Mills... so the power went out???? Did any trains get stuck?
