I went to both parks on a Monday and Tuesday and rode mostly everything. Universal Studios had decent lines less than 30 mins for most rides and single rider lines were walk ons. Rip Ride Rock it was awesome. Theres nothing like enjoying a badass roller coaster while listening to Insane in the Membrane. The Mummy, surprised me, I thought it was going to be a weak ride like Twister was, it wasn't. What a great design with some very nice special effects. Longest wait was for Krusty, about 45 min wait. Pretty good ride. Island of Adventure is a different story, until about 4pm, the lines were ridiculous. 1.5 hr waits etc the flags were in full force and their chanting/cheering was irritating. There was a 2 hr wait just to get inside the Harry Potter part of the park and they were issuing tickets. Needless to say, I came back later, so around 6pm or so that line was history, waited 15 mins in the single rider line. The ride blew me away, one of the best I have been on. It does have issues though, it must have broke down 6 times while I was waiting in line but not while I was riding.
