I don't think they tried very hard, webcams are not that hard to get up and running. O well , I am sure they will get them up sometime or another. KD doesn't even have a webcam, atleast we have one.

According to the Carowinds website, Additional webcams will be added in the following weeks. It has been two months, and I have not seen additional webcams. I wonder if they forgot about them, or if they just haven't had time to install them yet. I know some of carowinds connections' regulars are Carowinds workers, and if they might know something about the delay on that.

The "new" webcam isn't very good. It has a very slow refresh time. Now the intimidator cam does as well.

Uh am I the only one who hasn't bothered to look at the webcam since Intimidator opened? Why does this thread even exist?

haha, probaly so. I look at it sometimes just to see how busy it is. I think the reason the cams are slower now is they changed servers, the old one was AXIS or something and now its different... For a while the webcam on the intimidator site was just an X but would work on carowinds....weird. Hopefully it will come back to life someday.

I use it usually to see how busy it is, or to see the weather. Weather can be so different from the lake norman area vs the south charlotte area.

They changed to that express webcam server or whatever, now when the image refreshes, the whole thing blinks hahaha I wonder why they switched. I guess axis couldnt handle more than one cam or something. Oh well, at least they got 1 additional cam finally. I did see the cam when I was at the park last weekend, since we now have to walk all the way around to the waterpark until nighthawk is fixed...
