Drove by the park today and noticed they had Scarowinds X on the sign as well. Either someone can't count or for some odd reason they didn't like the way the 10th season went last year so their trying again lol.

It's simple math Carowinds. 11 comes after 10.

The "X" I believe is meant to mean 2010, not 10th year.

That was just a simple case of bad math. This is the 11th year. The first year held was 2000. I guess it could be mistaken to mean that 2010-2000=10, that is so normally; but not in this case.

On your 10th birthday, you're starting your 11th year, but you're still considered 10 years old.

I can undrestand how they think 10th year but as said it's the 11th running and now the park just looks dumb for celebrating the 10th Scarowinds 2 years in a row. Last year all the banners, park maps & every other form of advertisment promoted 10 season of scream.

Sorry Carowinds. Major FAIL lol.

Well last year the maps said it was "The 10th season of screams" so it was the 10 time doing the event, and this year will make Scarowinds 10 years old. Thats the way I believe it is.

I take back what I said. It is a counting FAIL on their part. They ARE marketing it as the 10th time. From the Scarowinds.com "Obituary":
