RollerCoasterMommy07 wrote:^ OMG that would be sooo awesome if they did :D . I'm so ready to get my coaster fix. I'm thinking I will go ahead and get a season pass for next year considering I will be in the States most of the summer..Well pretty much all summer..I have never been to Carowinds Scarowinds so I'm really excited to see what they have to offer..I've only been to Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion's Halloween events. Which Busch Gardens wasn't that great, the employees just weren't into it. Kings Dominion's was really good though. My favorite was the Midevil Macabre I think that's how they spelled it..Maybe I will run into some people from this site while I'm there..That would be pretty kewl..

What day are you planing on going?

Saturdays are most likely going to be busy, especially since the waterpark will be closed. Luckily, scarowinds will start the 17th so a lot of people wont come until scarowinds starts so.... good luck.. If you want to get TONS of rides you need to join ACE and come to C3 for some ERT on intimidator  I am sure you will get plenty of rides though, even if its busy the line moves quickly so you should definatly be able to get over 10 rides in..

Yea I know when we went back in May it was waaaay busy with school kids because there was some competition going on. I saw lots of kids with roller coaster replicas or something. Even being way back in the queue line I don't remember waiting more than 15 minutes. I will probably try to join when I move back to the States for good. I've wanted to be a member of that group for a while.

You must have went during those education days... I think I ended up at one of them to.. kids in green shirts everywhere... ACE is a great club, I dont get to travel much thought I had joined in 06 and went to C3 and then it expired and I just re-joined this past march. I am finally going to go to a different event with them, I am goin to Summer Conference @ KD, I cant wait. Its awesome, if you are able to travel a lot then its a really good investment because of all the ERT and all you can eat buffet's etc. Anyway we better get back on topic...

Well, not really. We had all you can eat and later on I rode intimidator 17 times in a row with no problems, other than a slight headache, of course it was like 4 hours later so.... I hope the all you can eat + ERT on I-305 doesnt = messy

Well I could handle the 4 hours later, but definantly not soon after a big buffet haha. I ate dip and dots and immediately went to ride Volcano once and was burping it up ick. Man I'm so excited to go to Carowinds in September. I miss it

haha sounds pretty "ick" I have ate and rode hurler afterburn etc many times, luckily I dont get sick. It may just be because Iam SO used to the rides @ the park and just dont react to them, hopefully I wont barf @ KD  The new scarowinds page is lookin pretty good! They are doing the new maze in the pavilion we had lunch in @ coasterstock.... should be fun... Man I cant wait scarowinds is my favorite, I wish it was year round haha. I was at the park yesterday with my kids for the waterpark, I didnt notice any scarowinds theming going up yet, but it should be starting in the very near future...

Yea I barely feel them anymore it's all my stupid stomach lol. Man I'm getting so excited now. Oh wait I take that back Intimidator really got me on that first hill especially in the back. I'm sure I was a funny site to see holding on to my arm rest screaming my lungs out lmao  . I have never been to Scarowinds before so I'm really excited to see how good theirs is. Man speaking of kids I can't wait till my lil boy is big enough to ride the rides. He watches pov videos on youtube with me all the time (he's 3) and all he says is when I get big I can ride coasters with you mommy. Oh such a proud moment lol. Also, can someone give me a link to the Scarowinds site because when I go to the carowinds site and click on the Ad for it, it goes to error and doesn't load. Thanks

HAHA! My daughters are 6 and 3 and my 6 year old rode her first coaster @ 3 and my 3 year old rode hers this year!! Her first coaster was the woodie in planet snoopy, whatever its called now. She rode it 2 times the first time and 3 times in a row the next time we went, she woulda rode more to! My 6 year old, she gets a little scared so I kinda have to "make" her do it, but I think she likes it she just doesnt want to admit it... oh well. My nephew is 7 and he rode carolina cyclone for the first time this year so he is starting his coaster count hahaha. My neice is 5 now she isnt tall enough for cyclone, but she will ride when she is! Emma and Kennady (the 2 youngest) my daughter and my neice, they are the brave ones. My nephew and Abby, they are the more timid ones but I will ween them out of it. Caden loved to ride the coasters I made on No Limits though... Cant wait til he is old enough for scarowinds, probaly wont take him this year I dont want to scare him to death and I know my little girls arent goin.

Aww thats cute lol. Yea mine is scared of everything so that's why I think it's so funny that he wants to ride a coaster. I couldn't even get him on the kiddie carnival rides lmao :D . Although I don't plan to do what my mom did to me when I was 6 and she put me on my first coaster. The Grizzly, after that I didn't ride another coaster till I was 14 and have yet to ride Grizzly again. I'm gonna start him slow lol.
