I meant to the ACE event for ERT, not at the park the entire day.... And I am just going by what the e-mail confirmation says...
Thank you for registering for the ACE Southeast "Carolina Coaster Classic" to be held on Saturday, September 11, at Carowinds in Charlotte, NC.
This is your confirmation that we have received your registration materials and are ready for you to join us for a fantastic day at the park.
Check in will begin at the park's North Gate starting at 8:30 AM. If you took advantage of the Season Pass discount when you registered be sure to bring your current Carowinds or eligible Cedar Fair pass to the park as it will be used for your admission.
Don't forget; BYFL (bring your favorite lanyard). While we will have complimentary (free) lanyards at the gate make a fashion statement with your own by bringing one from home or recycling one from a past event.
Our schedule for the day is as follows
9:00 AM ERT on Afterburn, Thunder Road, Woodstock Gliders and Lucy's Crabby Taxie
10:00 AM ERT ends, Group Photo at Carolina Cyclone (repainted this year)
10:00 AM Carowinds opens to the public and you
11:30 AM Lunch at the Southside Pavilion B (behind Afterburn)
Q&A session with Bart & Jerry
Scavenger Hunt sheets distributed
Walk back raffle ($1/ticket); money goes to ACE Preservation Fund
1:00 PM Lunch ends
3:30 PM Raffle winners and a guest enjoy an exclusive private walk back tour of Intimidator
5:00 PM Scavenger Hunt answer sheet collection deadline (location announced at lunch)
7:00 PM Attendees meet in the Carowinds Theater for announcements, scavenger hunt results and winners, and Match Game!
8:00 PM Carowinds closes to the public. When possible, ERT begins on Intimidator (1 hour)
While Carowinds will endeavor to provide ride times and the rides listed, inclement weather, equipment problems or other unforeseen circumstances may affect this schedule. Your registration is a non-refundable fee, and all registrations are final. Admission to the park (unless a Season Pass Discount has been used for admission), lunch and ERT sessions are included in your registration fee. The payment of registration fees by, for or on behalf of participants releases and holds harmless the American Coaster Enthusiasts, Inc., and its Officers, Directors, Executive Committee Members and representatives from any and all liabilities related to those activities. Members of ACE are expected to abide by the club's code of conduct at all times during the event, and members are also responsible for the conduct of non-member guests. During the event's private ERT sessions lose articles may be left on station platforms, however standard operating procedures during the day require that loose articles be stowed in lockers or left with a non-riding guest.
