I was finally able to go to the park yesterday. The second time this year...
We took 9 laps on the Intimidator in just a few hours. We were able to get quite a few rides on other things as well, including... the Hurler. *Que epic sound effects here* Now normally I love the Hurler, it's been a favorite ride. But after riding it a few more times yesterday, I'm sayin TAER IT DOWN!!11
The restraints suck, the bumpiness kills, and the right turns will paralyze you so you'll be walking with a limp on your right leg for the rest of your life. I'm a complainer, what can I say?
On a different note, it's a pretty insane feeling getting off multiple rides on Intimidator then jumping onto Top Gun. That is an intense coaster to say the least. Call me a wimp, but I was blacking out on some parts of the ride. Great stuff rat thar.
Also a pretty cool thing I discovered: On the Intimidator try to sit on the outside seats, grab a few pennies and put it on the black thing in between the two seats, and watch the coin float as you go over the hills.
If someone has a good camera, I think I found a great place to take a picture. Around 5:00 when the sun makes the Intimidator look like it's glowing, take a ride on Thunder Road. As your going up the hill (near the top is the best place), look backwards. All you see is a beautiful mass of twisted steel (top gun and Intimidator) sticking out of the trees.

Or how about you don't do that, and say you did? That's a good way to get someone hurt. I was hit in the head with a quarter on Magnum a few years back, and it hurt. Bad. So please don't do something as foolish as this again.

No problem Steve. It wasn't deliberate, as the $1 in change fell out of my pocket, I just thought it looked pretty cool. Ironically, a few quarters whizzed a few inches by my head later that day. I suppose it's safe to try out in the back row, right?

Safe? No. You can easily mess something up behind you. i.e. A Car, A Car on a track, A Boat, A Helicopter, A Taxi, A Pirate Ship. :)
