If I heard correctly, Stealth was only around for 3 years before coming here? Why such a young life? Was it just not popular in CA? I heard it was sold to make room for a expansion of the water park or something to that effect, but could it have not just be relocated in the park? 3 years just seems like a short life, especially for such a big coaster? Just curious!

because of problems they couldnt get it to work so they got tired of it and thats when they sent to carowidns to see what we could do with it

I think the main reason Stealth left was because PGA wanted a water park. I am sure the problems did have some part in the reason for it packing up and heading out east.

But I would put money on Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay was the main reason.

Actualy stealth was a proto-type. It wasnt suppose to be in there no longer then 5 years. Plus the fact that they had problems with it (the same problems we are haveing). This is from what i have been told.

Are you saying because it was a prototype it was not supposed to remain there longer than 5 years? I find that hard to believe.

I think it was because of operating costs, and PGA's attempt to become more family friendly. So when their GM left, he took the coaster with him.

Could this be a prototype for us? Time will tell, time will tell. I must tell you that I see a lot of this type of thing at the 'pital (we call the hospital the 'pital).

Dang my sources must have leaked to you also. Well since she broked the news i must concur. The ride will be leaving the park in the middle of july. The park wants to play with people love for coasters and brought this coaster in just to get some spoiled. They spent millions on the new system and the cars to make it soo smooth that you can sleep on it. Then once people ger comfortable w/ the coaster WHAM!! its gonna be gone. they will replace it w/ a chance mini mine coaster. But they will be leaving the sphere w/ a sign reading "Have you seen my BORG?". You konw w/ the island sinking and all it wouldnt be able to handle a ride of such large magnitude. Because everytime i rode it i felt closer and closer to the water. Heck the last time i had to hold my breath as my nose skimmed the waters surface.
