I approach riding the borg from a surrealist point of view. It's very audacious in every respect for anyone. This is a great ride.

First off, Welcome Dr. Erica! glad to see another friendly face here. (And your English is great, don't worry.) Trust me you probably speak better English than most of us Americans. lol (Well it's true)

And getting back on topic, Wow! I got TWO rides in on Borg this weekend! What an amazing and cool ride this turned out to be! And since I'm going to be at the "commercial shoot" on the 30th I'm probably going to get to ride it more than I ever will this year!

I'd ridden Batwing and kind of knew what to expect, but nothing could prepare me for the jaw-dropping Borg Sphere (ship). Wow! Way to go Carowinds! The ride is so smooth, I had to remind myself I was on a Vekoma. The only time I kind of "flopped" around in the harness was the corkscrews, but they were still awesome. Kind of like being put in a blender and put on pure (sp?) lol !!!

Despite the fact I will probably be called crazy, I think it's now my favorite coaster in the park! Top Gun is awesome, but it's almost toofast in comparison to Borg. Borg is more like fluid motion, TG now almost seems forced IMO. Don't get me wrong though, I still love TG.

yea i didnt get to ride it saturday because it was a race to the gate then it was 2-3 hour wait all day so we was gonna wait til the end of the day so they would run everyone in line.... it didnt work. so honestly i cant say. i would lean more toward the front for your first ride then the back from then on out. At least i was able to hit DDR without downtime

Thankyou very much for being so friendly to me on this day. Many blessings to you and every member on this board. While I especially like the front of the ride, I also especially like the back. Every part of this coaster is amazingly powerful and perpetual.
