That is just plain scary if you ask me that is.

Looking forward to seeing what Carowinds has to offer before going to the Best Dang Halloween Event at a Park. Looking forward to hearing what the folks that go this weekend thought of Scarowinds.

Oh I forgot to also mention that the electric chair guy has been moved from the front of the park to the area between Scream Weaver and Rock Shop in front of Hurler. Now the area across the bridge in front of the Carowinds sign has a swinging pendulum thing that the head guy stands on during the introduction. Here's a pic of it:

So take that into consideration when you think about taking someone.

Yeah, those airsprayers definitely make you jump. There was no green tunnel I had to crawl through or second story I had to climb up to though. My guess is those were only for the scharactors.

As someone else posted, DONT see the FANGS show, worst show I have ever endured. No one knew the songs, and if they did I am sure they didnt recognize them. The Blonde girl did great on her one solo though. Most guest I heard were laughing about how bad it was. Oh and the haunts are all lit too bright this year, and no where near enough fog or scareactors. But hey its early in the season. Oh and the Intimidator line at 10pm only took us 20 minutes so 2 trains were fine. Over all we had a great visit.

I wouldn't consider a 20 minute wait packed... It usually does run three trains but as people have already said in other topics, there are reasons for two trains sometimes.

Its not the end of the world.

On saturday it said the park is open from 10:00am-5:30 pm and the scarowinds halloween hunt begins at 7:00pm and ends at 12:00 am do you have to leave and wait for the parking gate to open or stay at the park waiting to 7:00 pm.

MOD EDIT: J8257618, your post has been moved here to its appropriate thread. You are treading thin ice if you start another inappropriate one, and consider this a friendly reminder that your attitude could stand some improvement if you wish to remain on this forum.

We still plan on going to Carowinds on the 10th (not Scarowinds) so you might see us there. I haven't been able to talk Carowinds into letting us come on the 9th and the 10th with our 2011 season passes, but no big deal.

I meant that we may be going on the 12th because carowinds is not opend the 10th only scarowinds.

I'm not sure what calendar you are looking at, but the one on the Carowinds
site shows that they are open from 10 - 5:30 on both 10/9 and 10/10.

They're not open on weekdays during the month of October.

Based on comments made at Carowinds Connection, we decided to go on Sunday instead of Saturday hoping it won't be as busy.

Sorry I was looking at Sep. Not October but we might go on the 10th.

Because a few years ago, a Scaractor was chasing someone with a chainsaw, and the kid with them got scared and ran out into the Dodgem's arena and was crushed between two vehicles. Seriously. I was there and saw it. Gruesome.

But some people thought it was part of Scarowinds, so no one paid any attention for like 30 minutes. The kid died. Then the guy with the chainsaw went crazy and cut someone's arm off. T'was a terrible nite. You don't hear much about it, it was during the Paramount days, and they did a great job of keeping it out of the news.

I've read this like 20 times and I have to say your alsome dude
