So Halloween Weekend started and while alot of people get dressed up and go to Halloween parties or head out to Haunted Attraction, I headed out to a Paranormal Investigation with my group to Knoxville, TN. Since this was posted in the Newspaper in Knoxville, TN I can repost it here without privacy issues to the homeowner. Can not really go into alot of detail but it was an interesting night

I've been looking at a lot of the ghost tracking shows on TV.
Haunted on Animal Planet is very interesting. I like it the best because the actual people are telling their stories while the filmmakers, editors, and audio crew go to work adding special effects that make their stories even more creepier. Ghost Hunters on SyFy still holds my interest even if they are of the first paranormal reality shows. Ghost Adventure on the Travel Channel is somewhat boring because the investigators always overact when they feel or see things that they never seem to capture on film. They do a lot of trying-to-prove talking to their audience that they had just experienced something.

I also like the Most Haunted Places series on the Travel Channel, which I was watching when I found out about their Haunted New Orleans contest. Which ones do you favor?

I have to say that one of my Favorite Paranormal shows was MTV Fear that was aired from 2000-2002. It was what alot of people said that got Paranormal SHows there start. You can find some of them on You Tube today. As with any other Paranormal Show they have some pretty cool places along with some really boring places. I still enjoy Ghost Hunter on SyFy along with the Drama Kings on Ghost Adventures. I enjoy them for the entertainment value along. You really have no idea just what Ghost Adventures will be getting into or what type of drama will it produce.

I like to watch Ghost Lab on Discovery Channel due to the fact they have a great Tech Set up and some really cool Tech stuff. I am the Tech Manager for my group and always enjoy seeing new things.

Now there is a show coming out in 2011 on Tru TV called “Supernatural Explorations”. It is about a group of female paranormal research investigators from the paranormal group SPARS. They will investigate some of the most reported haunted locations for an all night investigation with the first one being in Pickens, SC. Plus they have a great Tech Guy that will be on from time to time helping the group of four out.

I had no idea about the new show or station. We have Direct TV. Do you know the channel number?
( I will never subscribe to satellite TV again. When weather is crazy somewhere along the signal line, the picture is destroyed into millions of little blocks. This is so frustrating. I plan to try AT&T's U-verse next - TV through the phone line.)

Was not watching when I was typing the above and misspelled the Channel. It will be on Tru TV in 2011. I am not sure when it will air since the first episode is still in pre production and will not be filmed till the first weekend in Dec. I should know more after that weekend or as soon as I find out I will let you folks know.

I LOVED MTV's FEAR! Sadly it became too expensive to film (it got good ratings). That show scared the crap out of me many times.
