I haven't even seen any movie commercials lately on TV. I want to see Jack Black's Gulliver's Travels thats coming out soon and The Green Lantern with Seth Rogan. If you see those before me make sure you write a review so I will know weather to spend my money. I'm sure they will be out in the States first. They are behind the times here.

On another note does any of ya'll have facebook pages? I want to get to know ya'll better and put some faces to names in case I run into someone at the park I can say hi  .

Wow I would've thought alot of people would have one. I can understand that Arby I wasn't asking for people to post them in this thread but to pm me if they wanted. I really just want to meet more people. I really think this site is awesome and alot of people on it are very interesting and into what I am.

That's why I joined it in the first place. First of all, it is the easiest place to get some of the earliest info on what is going on in my home park, Carowinds. It also has a nice mix of backgrounds and ages, from some of the more experienced people down to high school/middle school kids. There are also employees and reps of Carowinds who frequent the board and keep us informed with what they are allowed to reveal as well as reps of reputable organizations such as ACE. Where else can you have access to so much without tons of useless threads to go through day after day like I have seen on some other forums.

Geesh, you'd think I was putting together a marketing kit for the site...

JamminJ, that's probably why we have so many likes on Facebook. I've told others about the site based on the above information. I just wish we'd do more with Facebook and Twitter.

Haha that is true. I definantly like hearing about all the new stuff going on. This site has also helped me learn more about my passion. I find myself reading post and something will stick out about a coaster or park I haven't been to, then it's off to search the web for all the information I can. I'm so glad I came across this site. Not to mention it has definantly got me thinking about joining ACE when my husband and I move back home for good. No point in joining now when I'm not even living in the States to reap the benifits.

^Should check out the ECC then. http://www.coasterclub.org/ Have you been to any UK parks yet? Alton Towers, Chessington Worlds of Adventure, and Blackpool Pleasure Beach (and a lesser extent Thorpe Park) were amazing to me

Well perhaps we should move this to another thread, but I'd like to hear some of your ideas. I can't speak for Jonathan but I am hesitant to do much with the Facebook because it seems like it would drive people from forums instead of to the forums.

I may only be 24 but I feel like such an old geezer when it comes to social networking, I really don't understand how to best use it for the benefit of myself or the website. :?
