Hey all,

I was just wondering (purely speculation) if Cedar Fair could possibly be rolling those new Windseekers to all their parks in a two year roll out. I could definitely see one of those going in the spot that the Sky tower currently sits. Pure speculation but a neat idea don't you think?

Personally, no I don't see this happening. The Sky Tower really is the signature item in the skyline. I wouldn't picture Cedar Fair taking it out to replace it with a new state of the art ride.

Oh heck no. LOL!
Windseeker would look horrible in the front where Skytower is. Skytower is here to stay. It gives great views and has air conditioning.
side note>>>>>I heard Knotts Berry Farm is changing their minds about their Skytower removal and may be moving Windseeker to another location. (It's only a rumor because the construction has not started yet)

And on top of all that, realistically there is no space there for something like that. They would have to move/tear down way to much. If we got one, it wouldn't be there. I would hope the County Fair gets it actually. T-Road and T-Gun are lonely.

I say take out the Yo-Yo and replace it with the Windseeker!!!! I'm sure they can make room. I doubt they will listen to me, but it would be nice....lol I really doubt they would remove the skytower. I think it has several more years of useage and is definitely an icon in the park's skyline and history.

I remember a park built a top secret prototype flying coaster at a park and moved it 3 years later...

That is a prime spot for they type of ride. I would love to see some life back in the part of the park...but after thrill zone. Where the skytower is, is not enough space. You have the helix for vortex and borghawk in the way.

Theres a problem with that. Yo-yo I right next to afterburn so if you put something TALLER than afterburn right NEXT to afterburn, afterburn's popularity will most likely go down. Intimidators might... well I dont know. But carowinds probably doesnt want to hurt afterburn's popularity, I dont think.

I don't think anyone is going to forget about Afterburn. At least I'm not. It's one of the best Invert's out there.
Winseeker? I doubt we will get one of those. But if we do, It probably wouldn't be a 301' model. Maybe a smaller version. 150 -200' ft range. (just guessing). Either way I wouldn't ride it cause I would S*** on my self LOL!! I can barely take YOYO when its swinging at it's max height. But a good Windseeker location is where Xtreme Skyflyer is.

I'd rather have Maxair or a Zamperla Discovery 30

I don't think that the sky tower will go (it's one of only three original rides at the park). If we get a windseeker, I don't think it would take away from any ride nearby it, especially not if it's a good ride.

I'm going to be at Cedar Point in 2011 and I'm not sure I'll have the nerve to ride windseeker.
