I happened to run across this item at my mom's again recently. I'd always thought it was from our family trip to Carowinds circa 1980, but I'm now wondering if it might actually have been from an earlier trip. Apparently she and my dad went by themselves in one of the first few years the park was open.



When were the characters discontinued anyway? This site seems to say they were only used for the first two years:

So far I've only been able to name the following:

Ringo Raccoon
Carolion
Pamela Pig
Bubba Bear
Hercules the St. Bernard
A Rabbit ??? (in the bottom pic on the early years link above)

There were supposed to be a total of 21 originally. Can anyone name the others? Doesn't seem to be a lot of info about any of this online, but I did find an article about the lady who made the costumes, if anyone's interested:
