Yes that's right. Today I will be reviewing EA's space horror, Dead Space. Although the game is a few years old, it still packs just as much punch as the day it was released.
In this game, you play as Isaac Clarke, an engineer who has no idea what he has just gotten himself into. Isaac begins his story on a repair mission but soon finds himself fighting to survive. He boards the USG ISHIMURA, a large mining vessel, in hopes of fixing the comms array and finding his girlfriend Nicole. Once aboard, the crew is attacked, and as far as Isaac knows, he is one of only three remaining survivors. Two of your fellow crew members, Kendra and Hammond, give Isaac tasks and missions that he must complete if he wants to escape the ship alive.
This title has a very complicated story, and players will be pushed to finish the game and reveal Isaac's fate. You are on the edge of your seat the entire game, and I sometimes found myself screaming at the game when things took a dive for the worst. The story has many twists and turns along with little, if any flaws.
Another thing,
THIS GAME IS SCARY!!!
It is rated M for a reason. This game is by far, the scariest game I have ever played. From dead necromorphs coming alive to crew members commiting their own suicide, you will be frightenned. This game is very bloody, and I do not recomend it to people who are easily scared.
Overall, for a price tag of 20 bucks, this game is well worth the price. I give it a 5/5 easily, and I am proud to say that this is the best game I have ever played. (besides Uncharted 2)
With the sequel just around the corner, I have very high hopes for the Dead Space franchise and the future of Isaac Clarke.

Today I will be reviewing Uncharted 2 Among Thieves for the PS3 system.
I first heard of this game when our family was having a get-together and my cousin told me to try this game. I really didn't know what to expect, so I went and rented the game. This title quickly became my favorite video game, and I still play it online almost every day.
The story begins in medias action, or in the middle, with Nathan Drake dangling from a derailed train hanging off the side of a cliff. He manages to pull himself up and escape the railcar, but just as he stops to rest, a band of thieves arrive, and the screen fades to white. Then, you are thrown into a crazy roller coaster ride, and you uncover the true secrets of Shambala and the Chintimani stone.
The gameplay is amazingly smooth, and the graphics look real. I believe that this is the greatest game ever made.

It's high time someone started a post such as this.
Do you know anything about Lost Planet 1 & 2?

Please, eventually review all of them at your leisure.
I especially want to hear about XboX 360 games, old and new, that I may have not played yet.

That's right folks! You voted, and the winner is the Move. Although I've only had the software since Christmas, I believe that I can still give a fairly decent review.
The starter set comes in two variations; one includes the PS Eye, the motion controller, and Sports Champions where as the other comes complete with a Party Starter game. I myself prefer a sporting game, so I bought the version with Sports Champions. I find it somewhat aggrevating that if you want to play against your friends, you have to buy an additional controller for $50, and very few titles such as Heavy Rain use the $30 navigation controller.
To start off every game, you have to point the controller at the PS Eye camera and wait until the system calibrates. If you point it at the floor then it makes the system very hard to use, and it can be frustrating to recalibrate. Also, before each sport you play you must stand in a box shown on screen and move the controller to your hip, shoulder, and belt buckle while pressing the Move button as you stop at each position. Calibrating can be a bit confusing, but when calibrated correctly, the system works fabulous.
In Sports Champions, players can chose to play six different sports including table tennis, dick golf, bocce, volleyball, archery, and gladiator duel. My favorites are archery and gladiators because I like fighting, and they work the best. Although everything in Sports Champions is fun and works properly for the most part, I found that titles like the Fight to be very hard to control.
After playing Kinect, Wii, and the Move, I found the Move to be the most responsive and work the best. I found the Kinect to be a little laggy, and it seemed to make its players look retarded. I thought that the Wii seemed a little outdated, and in games such as table tennis I found the Move to have a few more motion capabilities.
Overall, I think that the Move is the superior of the three, but some titles do not respond as well as others. I give the Move a 4/5.

^ I don't have the move or kinect, but I do have the Wii. I just recently got the EA Sports Active 2.0 for Christmas and I was reading the forums for it. Alot of people are having problems with the move and kinect versions of this game. On my Wii however it works wonderfully and it gives you an amazing workout. I have already started noticing that I can do more things without getting out of breath so quickly.

Instead of a review I will do a mini preview because I found a game that I am really excited about. lol

Today I will preview Dead Space 2. It is the sequel to the first, and I am really excited about the future of this series.
As of right now, the game will be released on Jan. 25, but there is a playable demo out in the Xbox Marketplace and the PS Store. There is also a trailer which you can view here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtEEa4PU7ok
In the demo, you find out that Isaac has somehow survived, and Isaac awakes in a hospital bed. You learn that it has been four years since the demise of the USG ISHIMURA, and that Isaac is still haunted by the marker and his dead girlfriend Nicole.
I found the demo to be quite interesting. The game features amazing graphics, and you can actually navigate through zero gravity, unlike the first. Although the graphics are better, the game is not as dark as the original, and it doesn't give you that HOLY **** feeling like its predacessor. Also, you are not alone this time, and you are in a city, not a ship. Finally the game will feature multiplayer which will allow you to play as a necromorph. The game still looks great, and I still hold it as my second most anticipated game of 2011, Uncharted 3 being the first.

This just looks like a re-make of the wii... Well I havent played move but I love my kinect and my kids do to and I dont have to worry about a controller flying out of their hand and hittin my new LED TV! I agree that the kinect seems to make you look funny, but I like it a lot. i do need to try the move but the idea of holding that wand just sucks... haha.
