In a battle, can bobcats beat grizzlies?
That's exactly what happened last night at Time Warner Cable's Arena in uptown Charlotte, NC.
BobCats ruled Memphis with a 20 point lead for most of the game, then turned the Grizzles into orphaned bear cubs with a clawing defeat of 96 - 82. It was all the cubs could do to try and keep up.
Second level fans were treated to special ticket upgrades.
Because of the snow and a low crowd turnout, all nosebleed seaters were given the first floor treatment. You could say the between 1,ooo to 2,ooo fans were a regular hockey game crowd, but they sounded much louder as they cheered the Cats on to victory.
I'm so happy I got to feeling better and went to the game. It was so exciting. I was in section 113, which received a lot of attention from those beautiful LadyCats who loved dancing in the isles and revving up the crowd. The Cat Crew were also active in the stands. They orchestrated something I hadn't seen in a long time - the wave. What an awesome night!
