Yea, I dont understand the wand either or how the move is set up, looks complex lol. I like the kinect, for what it is. Of course its not the most high tech and visually astounding product, but its fun to play, for my kids. I tried it and I like it, but you arent supposed to sweat playin video games.. Oh well. The bowling and all the sports games are what we play most I dont like the adventure game that came with the kinect. Anyone else have a kinect and any good game suggestions for it?

Didn't the Kinect get watered down to make it cheaper? Project Natal was what it was originally called - and I do recall it being much more advanced gameplay-wise than the Kinect. Do you think it'll pull another Wii and only be used for family games?

I can DEFINITELY see this technology being used for many things in the near future. Even Apple is patenting some designs on Kinect-like hands free equipment.

That's just it. Water the products down, than hit the people with the more advanced features later to keep'em buying. I expect the same thing to happen with the iPad.

Today I will review Batman Arkham Asylum.
The game begins with Batman escorting the Joker into the Arkham Island jail. He escapes, and Batman has to stop him.
For as old as the game is, it looks really good and has some nice gameplay sequences. As for the story, it is very nice and easy to understand. Players will find themselves climbing, gliding, and hiding through fight sequences. There are some very good boss battles, and there are a lot of bosses too. You will also find yourself looking for clues, and trying to escape the fear planted in your mind by the Scarecrow.
Overall I love this game, and I have played the story all the way through atleast three times. There is so much to do and find in this game, the fun never ends.

Sounds like it's time for you to join FireFly, where you rent and return games whenever you like.
That is, if you're trying to be a video game reviewer...

I'm pretty surprised at how much I'm enjoying reading your reviews.

Suggestions: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Assassins Creed: Brotherhood
Halo Reach

Fast fact... Did you know Black Ops sold more copies of its game in its FIRST WEEK than Avatar and The Dark Knight COMBINED? This is the fastest growing industry in the world.

I did not care too much for Halo ODST. There was entirely too much backtracking. While I understood the game and beat it, I really didn't care too much for it.

Let me start buy saying I am a xbox360 guy. My wife bought a wii a few years ago she just played the dance games and couple others, i found myself sitting on the couch playing the wii with just my wrist movement. I bought the Kinect over xmas and our wii has not been turned on since. I bought my wife the dance central game and it gives you a bloody work out. I have 2 left feet and no rythym (like most of us). However i been playing with my wife 2 times a week for about an hour or so and already have lost 10lbs. in a couple of weeks. Beats going to the gym. It also has a workout mode that tells you how many calories you burn. I found the kinect easy to play and it makes you work. You can't fake jumping. It's smart.I like the fact no extra contollers to buy. Anyone can play. You can set it up for facial recognition and its voice activated. Will be selling the wii soon i think.

Thanks for sharing that carowinds4ever. We have the Wii and every time we turn around we need some other kind of controller. I just put an XBox 360 with Kinect on my want list.

Speaking of the XBox, it was cool when I visited the Microsoft Campus for a work event a few years ago. Every building I was in had a game room with a projector and an XBox 360 in it that you were free to play anytime you weren't working (or in conferences like I was).

That was a great testimonial. I have got to add the Kinect to my 360.
It sounds to me like you're now ready for the Michael Jackson dance workout, lol!
I hear it's off the wall. Can you feel it?

Get ready for a great workout with that one. If it's anything like my "Dancing with the Stars - Latin Cardio Dance," DVD from Target, you'll be wringing out your T-shirts at the end of the workout. Those Latin dances will work you overtime!
Wooooo! Don't stop till you get enough!

^ That's how the EA Sports Active 2.0 is. I am doing a 9 week program and just when I think I'm starting to get better it gets harder and more intense. I'm on phase 2 which is my 4-6 week and it's killing me  .
