I'm going on the 30th and I'm crazy excited about it. You guys rode it 16 times? That's insane. Were they filming you guys or taking your pictures?

For the record, I'm new to posting on the board. I've been reading it religiously since it started, thus I feel like I know you people. Hopefully I can meet some of you all next Tuesday.

As far as i understand it was just pictures. Hard to say when rideing. You guys should have been in my row on the first ride. I was sitting next to that tall guy with an orange shirt. He never got on it before and once the train fliped over after the lift hill he sayed "I shouldnt have drank that coffee". It was really funny at the time.

Next week is commercial filming. Today was photos for such things as brochures, print media, etc. After this week and next week, I think I'll have enough rides in to last me for a while.

Yes, Thrillseeker, I can be quiet. Other times, I can be very talkative. You try to be very talkative after having the wind knocked out of ya by Borg. LOL.

CoasterHo, is my "assistant." That got started back during the Discovery Channel shoot. As far as the CoasterHo name goes, everybody was scrambling for Top Gun rides that day after the filming had ended. Somebody said we looked like a bunch of Coaster Ho's (actually used another word and I don't think Dr. Possum would approve of me using it) trying to get every last ride in we could.

T-shirts are in the works with "Proud to be a Coaster Ho" on the front of it. I'm not about to put what's on the back :)

Back to the topic at hand...If anybody wants to go next Tuesday, let me know as soon as possible. I'll be at the beach from Thursday to Sunday but I'll be checking my email.

It was a blast. I was the guy in the long-sleeve maroon shirt with glasses. Maybe we all need to get photos up on our profiles lol.

I think two days of that should have me set for rides on BORG for awhile - I was feeling a bit funky after that last ride. I think it's the combination of time with your head pointed downward, with the blood rushing to your head, combined with several spots of pretty forceful G's. I've ridden Top Gun like 15 times in a row before and probably didn't feel as light-headed as I did with 16? rides on BORG over several hours.

I like the ride quite a bit after having ridden it a number of times. The first drop is good, the horseshoe can pull some surprising G's in some seats, the loop is pretty intense on entry and exit, and I probably like the corkscrews on this one better than on any non-B&M coaster. I think I'm liking the front part of the train better, as it seems the forces are a little stronger. The front-right seat was quite intense.

The setting is fantastic, probably right up there with Top Gun and maybe even better due to the water. Carowinds probably had the best visual impact coaster at an entrance I've ever seen with Top Gun, and now it has another at the other entrance - those'll be hard for another park to beat.

One photo I'm going to HAVE to try and get sometime this year - a picture of a Goldrusher train and one of a BORG train going through their curves at the same time. The tracks come pretty close at one point, right near the arcade. Someone pointed out that Carowinds' first coaster and latest coaster were right beside each other, and that got me thinking about a photo opportunity lol.

So you are mr. coffee then right? I was the person with very short hair, goat tee and sort of tan colored shirt (long sleeve). I had my coat on most of the time
(dark blue allmost black with pockets on the front and sayed MCD on the side).
