Retail valued at 249.00
sNBC priced at $199.83 with 5 affordable payments of $39.97
It includes a protective pocket, a 4GB and 8GB SD Card, WiFi, calender and calculator apps, and a host of other apps already installed.

It runs on the Android 2.0 OS and is one of the fastest touchscreen responding tablets for it's price range. No too sluggish at all. This one will make people happy who mainly want to read ebooks.

$149 at Best Buy, and you'd be much better off hacking a Nook Color.

That's not the same tablet.
The one at Best Buy is the R103 model. The one on sNBC is the newest, T103 model.
Amazon has yet another one coded T301. Gotta pay attention to those tricky model #.

Have you heard anything about the SuperPad?
It's a 10" iPad rip off of course - cheaper with less features.

I haven't, but I wouldn't go with anything not sporting the latest software at the least. I live on Engadget for all my info. I'm just not that excited by the tablets. Between my Kindle and my EVO, I'm all set.

I am definitely going to check that site out. Cnet is a pretty good one too.
I was very tempted to get that sNBC tablet but I still think it's a tad bit sluggish. I think I'll just hold out and see what April - June has to offer. The tabs can only get better.

Have you heard that we may soon be using our cell phones as credit cards? They're are doing so in Europe now.

I could not believe my eyes late last night as I viewed a new tab commercial. Introducing the new Dell Inspiron Duo - dubbed the convertible tablet - and this baby is sweet!

-Sometimes you want to touch, and sometimes you need to type...
It is slightly comparable to the up-and-coming Samaung PC Slider 7 but yet different and less expensive.

Click here to the upgradeable Duo for all the specks:

That Xoom looks like it responds to the touch pretty quickly, which is where the great tablets are headed.
Now we're coming into the arena where the real tablets are starting to be made, as opposed to the companies producing e-readers that perform a few other duties.

I had an epiphany the other day...

As you know, 2011 has been deemed "The Year of the Tablet."
As you may also know, the first weekend in August is the national tax-free weekend for back to school shopping. I say, if you can manage it, hold off on buying your tablet of choice till then. Many of the more competitive tables will have been released by then. Your choices will vary greatly, and some tablets may have even dropped in price - if just for that national shopping weekend.

You've lived this long without a tablet. Hang on just a little longer.
I'm sure you'll be glad you did.

Isn't the coming of more gadgets inevitable in this day and age?

The tablet is something that is to be reckoned with. The new tablets will be be more advanced and fast; still having the power to complete your tasks while still having great portability; this is something that is very important in today's hectic world.

Tablets are still in their infancy, however their are still many quality products. You just have to remember, if you want to cheap out, you will probably end up getting what you paid for.

Research and reading reviews is the best way to find out.

I totally agree.
That's why I started this blog, to help keep each other updated. While tablets are here to stay, they can only get better and faster, a great reason to wait until tax-free weekend if you are watching the market for a tablet this year.

Thank you for reiterating what has already been established. If you hear of any new tablets in the market, please let us know here so we can research them to see if the tab is the perfect one to help assist us in accomplishing the type of work or play we plan to use it for.

Not really that impressed with the first version of the IPad to be honest with you. I found it abit sluggish when I tried it out. Plus you have Apple micromanaging what can and can not go on it. It just really did not fit for what i needed it for.

Just really have never been a fan of Crapple but do like their IPod.
