Remember the key words, "If it doesn't work out it could turn ugly." I'm happy your's worked out for you. Not all places have a problem with coworker dating. But as you know, not all relationships work, and not all relationships end peacefully.

Yup, I know exactly what you mean. Me and my wife were dating before we worked together, and we usually worked different shifts and different departments to... I agree though it definately could turn ugly, but I do believe that is up to the 2 dating to keep that from happening.

It is best NOT to date coworkers for similar reasons that Phantom said. I dated a coworker, and let me tell ya'll, things got interesting in Kiddyland and Thrill Zone between a good portion of the Ride Ops.

I bet Chopper Chase was the place to be!

Guess they have paper towels and hand sanitizer for when you get off the ride now. (and mouthwash too.)

Lets just say, Chopper Chase and Mansion are favorite rides of couples, just remember Mansion has cameras in the ride.

Apply now for a position in the park as people are quitting, and getting fired already because they don't think the park rules apply to them.

Did you know your Carowinds ID is your season's pass to any of Cedar Fair's wonderful parks?
Apply now!!!

It sure was nice meeting a lot more of you CC folks in the park this 2010 season. Some of you are so funny. Some even acquired jobs and introduced yourselves to me, which is always a treat.

I had no idea I'd be looked upon as an ambassador of sorts - on how to apply for a job. Some of you preformed an Internet search for applying @ Carowinds, found this forum @ Carowinds Connection, joined and PMed me with your questions. I'm really horned. I hope I helped everyone obtain all the information you were seeking. Please contacted me again if you need any help for our next working season. I'll be glad to help.

You're loving Cat,

Admissions.
Pretty cool. You'll appreciate the air and the fans on those blistering days.

Whatever the temperature of the day is, park officials tell us to add 10 more degrees to it because of all the concrete and metal in the park. The heat will radiate from these materials and cook everyone extra well, lol. So, if the weather report is 90 degrees...

Don't be like the guest and pass out. Too many park associates become victims of the heat each year. You will be told to drink plenty of water throughout your shift, and absolutely do so! But on your lunch breaks you will also need to drink fluids like Power-Aid or Gator-Aid because you will sweat out important nutrients that water cannot instantly replenish like the sports drinks and waters can. Yes, it is still possible to faint in the park even if you drink loads of water, it's already happened.

Guess i'm not getting the job or something
I filled out my application online and it says.

"Your application is currently under review for the positions listed on your application"

"Your application is available for review by:

411 RIDES "

It's said this for like a week now?

Should i just go ahead and move on or could they still hire me?

Go to the employment office and let them know you need to do your first interview if you haven't already done that. Every department is still hiring, but they usually don't talk to anyone who hasn't already done their pre-screen or first interview.
