I went back to the park today for another fun filled day in the sun. I got to ride everything today, a lot more than we did yesterday. Some other things I noticed today that were "new", gold rusher got some new wood goin up the first lift hill, a webcam (maybe) on the corner of the Intimidator store, some new wood has been put in the queue of rip roarin rapids as well. Seems like a lot of little things have happend in the off season, nothing major, good to see some of these things happening though.

On another note, Intimidator broke down early in the morning (not very long) but some people were on the ride and got stopped in the MCBR (LUCKY). i did get a video of it releasing and coming back into the station, so I will post that later on. Vortex was down most of the day (as mentioned in the other report), Nighthawk was down a couple of times and one of the trains was taken off (big surprise), yoyo still was still down.

It of course was not as crowded today great wait times and it was a beautiful day in the park. Overall it was a FANTASTIC 2011 opening weekend! I cant wait to go back to the park in a few weeks.

We all went on 4-2 to get our season passes processed and stayed for 8 hours. Two of us went back yesterday for 4 hours and I think we rode just about as much yesterday as we did Saturday. I noted about the same things you did other than rapids which we didn't do.

Here is the video of the stuck train comin around the turn into the brakes. It still amazes me how slow it goes after stopping on the MCBR. It was pretty funny to see this with people on it though, just wish it would have been me on there :lol:

The very first time I rode it last year I got stuck on the MCBR.

Yup. I was one of the lucky few to get stopped on the MCBR on Sunday, the 3rd. So I'm on the back seat in that video!

NNNIIIICCCEEE! I had just told my friend after our first ride I wish we would get stuck and then low and behold the thing gets stuck when we were back in line :lol:
