Its not going to KI, (they have one). Probably not dorney (just got deamon drop). Maybe not cedar point (wicked twister is soooooooo similar to it). It is probably not carowinds (unless the want to replace carolina cobra, I cant see them have a ride for only 2 years). Probably not knotts (same reason).

sooooooo whats left? worlds of fun..... Kings dominion........michigans adventure..... and a ton of neglected california parks..


In another post, there was discussion about a merger with six flags. That could expand the options a lot.

If you disagree with anything, sorry, I did this off the top of head.

2012 - Invertigo - Semi-Confirmed - (4/8/11) According to the local news, the South Whitehall Township gave their final approval on the new 138 foot tall coaster coming to Dorney Park in 2012, otherwise known at the old Invertigo coaster from California’s Great America.

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP, Pa. -- Amusement Park enthusiasts will have a new ride at a local park starting in 2012. Dorney Park was given the green light to open a new ride.

The South Whitehall Township Commissioners unanimously approved the move at the meeting last night, said Township Manager Jon Hammer.

Hammer described the ride as a 138-foot-high, inverted roller coaster. It should be constructed in time to open for the 2012 season.

It will be located where the Laser roller coaster used to be.

Hammer said the commissioners must approve all new rides for Dorney Park.

Calls to Dorney Park to try and get more details on the ride have not been returned
