Just curious to know if any ACEr's out ther are planning on going to Thrills in the Hills on May 20,21,& 22? Me an my friend Dustin were planning a trip to Dollywood this month, actuall this weekend, but decided to not go because of mothers day and I saw that thrills in the hill was this month anyway! I have heard really really good things about this event so I am really excited that I may get to go. I have never been to Dollywood so I am looking forward to at least earning some new coaster credits and getting to see a new park!

I haven't heard of "Thrills." What's that all about?
It sounds spooky, reminds me of the horror movie title, "The Hills Have Eyes."

We're not going to go this year. If you are able to go, I would recommend it, though. It's a great park and worth visiting.

Phantom, Thrills In The Hills is and ACE event at Dollywood. It goes from Friday May 20th 6:30pm until Sunday, with all the special perks like C3, exclusive ride times, backstage tours, and free stuff. It should be fantastic!

Coastermania, Holliwood Nights, and Phoenix Phall Phunfest are also on there. They are Park Sponsored Events that are listed on the ACE Website along with Thrill in the Hills.

Oh ok, Wonder why CoasterStock isnt on the ace site haha. Oh well. Anyway ACE event, or whatever event it is. I will be there, probaly in an ACE shirt lol. I guess the difference is you dont have to be a member to go. I cant wait to see this park..

Because the park hasn't released a flier for the event yet.

This is correct. Coaster Stock is open to all coaster enthusiasts while ACE events are open only to ACE members and their guests.

Well tomorrow is the big day at Dollywood! I am really excited about this event and getting to go to another park! If you are going, I guess I will see you there (probaly without even knowing it hahaha). I will give a review of the event and post some pictures when I return on Sunday sometime.

Thrills in the hills was GREAT! Had an awesome time on Barnstormer! My favorite coaster is Thunderhead, that coaster is just non-stop speed and turns and airtime. I got a lot of pictures of the new construction site and learned A LOT of information on the new coaster Might just have to go back next year.... I will be back this year because I got a seasone pass, courtesy of my good friend Dustin, so I will definately take advantage of that!
