Even though the park just opened for the 2011 season less than a week ago, it's never too early to wonder what's to come next season. Especially when rumors and such are mentioned elsewhere.

Park News - (5/19/11) ...Also, when you visit the park this year you may want to take some time to get a ride in on Calypso and the old Turnpike cars. From the sound of things, the park may have something unique in store for this area of the park coming up, and will need to make some room for it. Even the Cadillac Cars may have to have their route adjusted. If the rumors holds water, even the old Pirate dark ride building may need to be removed to make way. All said and done, this is clearing out a pretty large area of the park… so I’m dying to know just what may replace it. Stay tuned!

It is about time for the addition of a new coaster to keep up with Six Flags Magic Mountain, and since the last installment was in 2007 with Maverick.

Let the speculation begin!

I think next year will defiantly be a new coaster for Cedar Point. Not sure if it will be a record breaker, but you never know.

Last year I decided to make CP an annual trip. Heading up there June 13-16th this year. If anyone wants to tag along, there's room in the car.

This would be cool and record breaking. Also it wouldn't take up a huge amount of space from the looks of the 10 inversion models. Some others on other sites I've seen agree.
