Ok, I know that none of you probably have any idea about it but I figured I'd ask anyway. Does it look like there's ever going to be an RCT4? And if so, why the heck hasn't anyone heard about it? Did RCT3 have bad sales or something? I know about No Limits and all, but I've never really been too interested since it's just coasters instead or whole parks. Thanks for any info on it!

About a year ago Atari asked fans on forum asking if they wanted to make a RCT4, what would they like to see in it. This looks very promising for a 4th installment.

If there is a 4th, it would be great if they would go back to the fixed view of the first two games. The third one was fun but cumbersome and looked way too cartoony.

I have Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 & 2 mixed in one game for the original XboX, which will also play on XboX 360. I had no idea they were up to 4 now.

LOL phantom! Its actually up to 3 and its been what 6 years ago it was released? I think the RCT 4 thing is a fad. I have read about it off and on for years. Although I did get on the forums on atari.com and make suggestions for the game haha. I dont know if the RCT franchise will continue or not. If they do, I will have the game when its released I know that. For now, I am just waiting for NL2 to release, which who knows how long that will be at this rate..

Oh well, only time will tell what happens.

I know what you mean. It takes a good year or two for them to put out really nice games and do them justice. I'm starting to replay games - something I've never gotten into before, and some of them really do have great replay value. I love the game-reward points. That is the coolest thing. I wish I could cash in on those somewhere...hehe. Some of the rewards I really don't care about like, buy every weapon for so many points or upgrade every weapon to its max for this many points. I'd have to play some games for a whole year or more to buy all the weapons. I don't care to have every reward in my games, but it is way cool to get most of them. Sometimes they happen by accident during game play.

I strongly disagree. 3 is better than 2 in every way, shape and form, the only thing bad about it is how heavy it is to run and it can be slow. But gameplay-wise, give me an updated version of 3, and make it run faster.

So, there is a version 4 after all. It must be hard to find if it's causing a bit of confusion here over it existence.

You just need a good PC to run it. My core i7 8GB RAM 1GB video laptop runs RCT3 perfect on the highest settings possible. There is no problem with the game at all. Its all about the PC its running on. :D

Man, I love it when a plan comes together!
You gotta love all those games that run smoothly because some, in fact, do not.

Isn't that something. The more powerful the games, the more power we need to run them. What in the world will the 2020 computers be doing, transporting small objects and pet from one part of the house to the other?

If the sales of this RC Tycoon franchise have declined, they may not be making anymore.
