I figured i would make a topic to keep everyone up to date on different rides that may be closed.

Has anyone even seen Snoopy's Great Skate run this year? I have been to the park the last 3 saturday's and it has been inop all day.

Last night saturday Boo Blasters was down most of the day, and finally by 9pm was closed the rest of the night.

The Sk8ter ride has been down for several weeks. Carowinds is waiting for a new part that broke on it. Should be back up sometime soon.

Does anybody know anything about the pink waterslide? (I don't know the name of it...it's at the waterpark entrance). When I was there last Friday, it didn't look operational and I swear I saw yellow tape around it. I didn't investigate, and I might just have been seeing things.

Last time I was there, there was a sign by it saying under construction.

As of monday 7-11-11 , Snoopy's great skate still down (that's all season now) action theater was closed, Bumber cars closed for maintenance (crews were working), the green 4 person water slide was closed opened at 4pm, the 2 body slides didn't open til 4 pm as well.

On a side note got to see the snoopy rocks on ice show for the first time this year. Was the same as last year.

I believe action theater opened at 2 on Monday.

When i went to Carowinds this past Tuesday (July 12th), there were lots of rides closed...a lot more than I ever remember in past years. Carolina Cobra was never opened, GR8 SK8 still down, Nighthawk down half the day (shocker there), Action FX theater not open (again), and a couple of the tube slides were closed (don't remember which anymore) when we went in the afternoon. And is it just me, or does Thunder Road pretty much never open until about 11-12?

On a side note, it's really time for the park to just tear out Hurler. The trim has neutered almost all of the airtime, and it's getting uncomfortably rough again...running 1 train it was still a walk on even for the front row.

During the week:
AFX opens at 2:00
WWF opens at 12:00
Hurler opens at 12:00 some days--on those days, Thunder Road opens at 10:00
Thunder Road opens at 12:00 some days--on those days, Hurler opens at 10:00
SkyCoaster opens at 12:00
Go-Carts open at 11:00
Rapids opens at 12:00
Gr8 Sk8 has been closed for some time and will probably stay closed for a bit longer

Everything else should open at 10:00, but sometimes things happen and they can't.

Gr8 Sk8 was open on Wednesday and I road it twice. However when I went back Thursday I did not see it running. Not sure what is up with it.

I went August 3 2011 and i saw skater what ever im new to the park but rainbow type ride and it was running for a few hours if it had riders, no clue by the time i got over to that area in was around 7pm, because we took 5 hrs in boomarang bay.Also closed that i noticed was a large raft ride with lift hill, bumper cars cant think of others.
