This is dollywood we are talking about. Not some parking lot park. I mean Tenn tornado is only like, 60 or so feet from top of lift to ground so just because we are seeing this 110ft-110ft number floating around, that really means nothing.

Just another reason why a Wingrider would be very cool. A terrain wingrider through the woods? Sounds like an amazing ride to me.

Whatever it ends up being, it will be an amazing ride no matter what. At least we know it will be smooth....

I had a feeling it would be a wingrider. If it has a 200 foot drop, would this not be the fastest non launched coaster with inversions?

I dont see a wing rider being that tall, well maybe if it goes over that mountain the "height" at the top would be that tall but realistically it wont drop that far. Same thing with the 180' tall "loop", which could be any inversion, it maybe 180ft off the ground or ground level but I dont think it will be that tall... I guess it depends on how they measure it etc. Raptor doesnt have a loop, and I dont think it would be possible to make one with a wingrider, maybe the half loop w/corkscrew or something but not a complete loop. All the info has been great that I have read on thrillnetwork and coasterfusion and I hope a lot of it holds true. I cant wait to see some support and track goin vertical :D

Well yeah, I dont think the roller coaster would be that far off the ground. The terrain will help make the coaster's height. I can't wait to see how it will be.

From what I've heard, it will make good use of the terrain. It certainly should be a great coaster!

How long do you think it will take them to have it up and running?

They usually open at the end of March, so I suspect it will be ready by the end of March 2012.

Oh, okay. I hope your right, though, I'd hate to be working on all that metal during winter months.
