Windseeker? Anyone rode one? Are they more exciting than look?

i rode the one at cedar point last month. It's a fun ride... the first time. Not a ride for those looking for a thrill, but fun nonetheless.

Also, i don't see how they'd theme a ride in the grassy area in front of intimidator to the wright bro's, considering it would be on the south carolina side of the park. just saying...

I went to Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Knott's Berry Farm this year and none of them had their Windseeker finished in time. Maybe if Carowinds gets one I can finally get to ride one. Dont think Windseeker is what we are getting though.

MAYBE this is a hint at a Wright Brothers themed roller coaster? Perhaps a B&M wingrider? That seems most "flight oriented to me" idk really...

I dont see a coaster this year though. Not till 2013

that area kinda lacks a dine in place to eat. Dont be surprised if u see Earhardt Cafe in that grassy area instead of a ride

I am liking the Wing Walker idea also. That was what I was thinking. I do agree that 2013 will be the next coaster. In reality, the park needs a high thrill flat ride more than a coaster. I am not wanting a tall whilrly bird chair swing ride though.

I don't care if it's a Windseeker or a B&M design (yeah; looking pleasantly on the concept of a floorless coaster too) and I don't really care if a new ride is built this year or next;
I think any ride with a Wright Brother's theme (suited to "flying") would be perfect for Carowinds.

I am on the same sternwheeler, but one might look nice overhanging the river where the smurf island rafts docked at or where the BORG sphere was.

I totally agree with that, although it would go great in another part of the park. While I don't watch much NASCAR anymore, I think they should continue to theme that front area related to racing.

I'm not convinced that the clue of 'wind' means windseeker. That seems way too obvious. Based on how clever some of the clues were for the photo hunt at CoasterStock, I think they can do better than that.

Well, I guess we all know its not a coaster. It has to be a flat ride. So if it's dealing with the Wright Brother's, I can onlt think of 2 flat rides that maybe can handle the challenge.
