So where will scarowinds put Stan Mikita now? Maybe where the Borg sphere used to be? Come to think of it he wasn't even out this year, atleast not in the same spot.

The Windseeker looks fantastic operating and at night. The ride itself is mediocre at best.

From what I learned from the tour I took at the beginning of Scarowinds, the lake will be filled in to about the fountain. There will still be a good bit of lake left.

I'm excited to see all of this work done already. The progress they have made in only 3 weeks is amazing.

I wonder what they are using a crane for already?

There was a concrete truck there earlier... It looks like the dirt path now has pavement over it.

So, it appears a crane has showed up on site, land is still flattening out though......wonder what the crane is for?

It also seems as though the entrance to windseeker could be through the top of the hill, where they already have a dirt path going. And at the end of the ride, they could have the exit move people out in the pathway underneath nighthawk.....that would be cool!

Looking at the blueprints, the entrance will be a few feet in front of where the tractor is beside the circle (green circle), and the queue will be where the opening to the circle is(blue), and the exit will be will be about where the red tractor is(red), the machinery building will be beside the rubble(yellow).

It looks like they are working on the patio area around the windseeker on the pathway......thats peculiar......
