It will still be there. Just expect an extended line coming from that direction.......it's not too far from mid january so I think tower pieces may appear on site (not necessarily in the air) in the near future :D

Also, i'm not sure if that is tarp or the floor of the station that is covering about 1/3 of the site right now........

Also, Why is the forum so slow, its barely crawling.

Good point since KD only recently poured the concrete for the ride area on theirs but these columns havn't yet shown up.

I agree, i expected the tower pieces to be up any day now. But of course we must trust the construction company's judgement on this one.

The first tower piece has arrived, it is completely gray. Didn't the base section have blue on it?

First off lets get the image on here in case people aren't following along...

But yeah, sorry the construction of this ride hasn't captivated some of you like Intimidator. It's just a flat ride, so construction won't be as dynamic. Maybe you shouldn't check the webcam as often..

I assume the tower will go up very quickly, once it does begin however.

As long as it's ready Opening Day, which could prove a challenge if last year is any indication. :?

Wasn't the reason for the northern Windseekers being delayed was because of the rough winter weather? I don't see that being a problem for Charlotte lol.

My understanding was some of the issues were mechanical/engineering issues that prevented them from working properly and threw them even more behind on their required rounds of testing.

With that being said, I haven't heard of any long term mechanical issues that have kept the rides closed for periods of time once they officially opened.
