i have narrowed down a few scarowinds mazes that might be leaving this year,first off defex, i know this is suprisng beacuse its relaivley new but if you look at the building defex was in you seee that the defex sign is gone and some boxes of stuff has been moved out, second is dead inn now this has been a preety good maze over the years but its been hear for a while i think it should go to give carowinds room for greater things and the rfd arcde where dead inn is has all these new updates and such that would proably cause dead inn to move anyway
whats your thoughts?

Agreeing with jamminj, but the park puts that type of stuff in storage, and I do believe I saw the props for Camp K still up, I cant remember what ride I was on though u.u

defex is not leaving.... dead inn might but hopefulyy furry gets a much needed improvement..... silver cream cinnima and cornstalkers might leave

I agree, Defex is not leaving. Especially since it is one of the most popular mazes. The one I see leaving is Silver Screen or Dead Inn. However I hope not since I really like those.

As for my opinion, some of the props for last laugh are still sitting there......as are camp killauee's. Defex is not leaving for the sole reasons that its too new, and too popular. I HOPE (personally) that cornstalkers stays, its long and made a major improvment in 2011. As for dead inn, the new laser maze thing might have decimated a small amount of the space there, so whatever might be in there (dead inn or something new) is going to be very short. I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned feeding frenzy yet, with the arbor gone, the atmosphere just wont be the same.

Asylum is staying (my hunch)
Silver scream is a possibility
Fury wont (too new)

I'd love to see a scare zone addition

They might not have the laser tag going during Scarowinds. However I doubt they will take it out to make more space. The arbor should grow back pretty well by the time September rolls around. At least I hope so.

All of the newer mazes defex and fury,i say would be staying.Although fury needs much improvment i can see camp killauee and last laff obviously stayin with the props still being up,silver scream sinema is most likely staying,asylum,and cornstalkers.I think dead inn is most likely to go

I think 9 mazes 4 scarezones...... well thats what I would do and somebody should just name this form scarowinds 2012 or something... but since the whole myian calander and decmeber 21 maybe an appoclypse maze.... who knows but i really liked to see another gorey maze.... i love the whole blood and guts.... just didnt seem right without slaughter house (exscuse typos using my phone)

I dont think they can move laser tag.Its inside the RFD arcade but i think its more of a permant structure than a temporary one. Even with that i think that dead inn has been there long enough,Im not saying its a bad maze but it should make room for bigger better mazes.

The park posted on Facebook a picture from the scarowinds meeting today and says they are in the works of building a new 1 acre attraction. The tv screen behind them says the entrance or something like that.

i cant tell if its The Entrails or The Entrance.... Hmmm its a toss up of a outdoor maze or a scare zone... and the theme might be gore or end of the world....... dang i hope next saturday is a another hint

okay so about the new one acre attraction thats on the carowinds facebook page. I really cannot see it being a scare zone(too big)and there is no place in the place in the park accseible during regular carowinds(places like RFD arcade Or the action theater exit) that are big enough for this. so they must be using one of the new acres for this atraction, any spectulation????
