Are you for sure that track is definitely wing rider style track? And where in Ohio was it sighted? Since in Ohio, possibly for Cedar Point or Kings Island? But still hope another big coaster is in the cards for Carowinds.

It was spotted in the yard of the metal fabrication plant in SW Ohio that manufactures B&M track. I found the link on Screamscape. Just going by that. That is all that I know.

Sorry about mentioning this on this thread. I looked at the 'All Things Carowinds' page and did not see a mention of it and did not think at all about looking at the rest of the blog. Thanks for the plug on the FB page. It is slowly getting there.

^^This exact photo hasn't been posted, but similar ones showing the area of land they purchased have been. It's 61 acres I believe. From what we have speculated, we think part of the land will be used for a hotel, and then expand the parking lot to this area. The remaining parking lot would then be demoed and the park would expand. A giga from Intamin or B&M could not be too far out in the future.

An Intimin Giga yes, but not a B&M. I have been really under impressed with what I've seen of Levitation so far this year, so unless they can come up with something a little more creative, I want an Intimin.

Personally I really like Leviathan. It's a combination of high speeds and a good amount of parabolic airtime hills. So personally I am impressed with Leviathan. I would take either an Intamin or B&M giga. Just as long as the Intamin does not have the over the shoulder restraints.

I'm a bit underwhelmed by Leviathan as well. It looks like a fast, fun ride. It seems to lack something....more hills, more turns or helix maybe? I just haven't had that feeling compelling me to make a trip there just to ride it like I have some other places.

As for Carowinds, I think I would prefer an Intamin over a B&M giga if they were to ever build one. In fact an Intamin launch of some sort (preferably like Cheetah Hunt or Maverick) @ Carowinds would be my next coaster choice since it is lacking a launch coaster. As for a definite lack of thrilling flats, I would really like to see a frisbee type ride added after riding the one @ Wild Adventures recently.

I would love to see a S&S screamin' swing, they are very fun, but short.

A better water ride would definetly be nicee, like other people said something along the lines shoot the rapids

GET RID OF THE SPONGEBOB ACTION THEATER MOVIE,IT IS VERY ANNOYING AND NO ONE LIKES IT!!!!!!!

and some upgrades to the water park like new slides and such would be cool
