well if a water park expansion comes to fruition, expect it to be separated from the park and become Soak City, no longer free. Which would suck. Double edged sword here guys.

I am not so sure about that actually. I feel there would be too much negativity from people if it became an extra charge to go to the water park. Carowinds was also the first theme park to have the water park free with park admission.

Well it's been leaked via the sandusky register that CP is getting a wingrider for 2013 to replace DT & space spiral.

I wonder if there's any truth to the rumor that 8 coasters have been purchased for the 2013 season?

Looks like the pics of the wing rider tracks in Ohio that were posted here a month or so ago have now been unofficially confirmed as going to Cedar Point. But still hope Carowinds gets another big coaster, although it's looking like it will be at least 2014 rather than 2013.

They would not waste the time or money to do that, especially for a ride that doesn't get much attention nowadays. The only difference in the ride is that CP's is a double decker cabin. Oh, and our's is taller anyway. It's completely unnecessary.

The only difference between Steel Eel and Intimidator is that intimidator is taller. They both go up and down, turn around, and do the same thing on the way back to the station. Also, the style of ride that Steel Eel is (meaning a D.H. Morgan Mega/Hyper Coaster) is SO outdated. No one has built one in almost 10 years.

I'm sorry to be so critical of everything you're saying, but none of it makes sense. I know this is a "Wishlist Thread," but there's a fine line between wishful suggestions and ridiculousness.
