I notice on Carowinds' website, Coasterstock 2013 is not in their events page. Any one know if there is going to be one this year?

Hey fans,

Thanks so much for your excitement about Coaster Stock. I really love this event and I'm glad to see so many of you are looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, we are not hosting Coaster Stock in 2012. As you probably know we are hosting Coaster Con in June and thought it was better to focus all of our attention on creating a stellar event. But don't worry- Coaster Con will be back next year...we're already working on our video script!

Ah! Well have a good Con! I wish I could make it but with my trip to cedar point, kings island, and kennywood I guess I wont be attending this go 'round. Will C3 be back this year in September?

Nope. For the same reason that CoasterStock is off. We're hoping that after a cancelled 2011 event and taking 2012 off that some this will renewed some interest in the event and the 2013 version will be good!

Yeah Bryn.....um not to be rude or prudish....but there is no event called CoasterCon listed on this or your site. I have been looking for details and can't tell if your post was a simple typo-error or if there really is/isn't an event called Coaster Con. A link would be great help thanks.

It is on the ACE website. It's only the biggest enthusiast event of the year, and this year is the 35th incarnation.

It's not cheap though, the week-long event will run you $346 dollars for non members, or $284 if you are a member of ACE.
