given the probable location of cedar points new coaster (the front of the park), i doubt this is going to CP. They already have a green coaster up front, Raptor. If they had room in the back of the park for it it could be a possibility, but they won't put two coasters the same color right next to each other.
Keeping fingers crossed for carowinds, but who knows...

^That is a really good point it doesn't seem a lot of people have thought of. However you never know. Don't think it is going to Carowinds though. Would be pretty awesome if it does.

CP has three red & yellow coasters all right beside each other...

Wing coaster confirmed for CP for 2013, and I figure the green X-Works coaster is it.

There's been a rumor floating around that CF purchased 8 coasters for 2013,the CP & CGA coasters make two so that allegedly leaves 6 to go & with CWL & DP ruled out(both got coasters thisyear) that leaves a good possibility for Carowinds & or KD to get one.

I knew CP would get the wing rider, it only made sense. They havent got a major coaster for a while and with Six Flags and Dollywood both getting one, you know they want to make the biggest and fastest one in the USA.... So fat it says it will be 170ft tall and go over the park entrace. I will definately be planning a trip to CP next year...

I'm going there on the 19th, staying at castaway bay, got fast lane passes and will check out Ghostly Manor and East Harbor State Park while I'm there. Cant wait to get some wings from Thirsty Pony.

Castaway Bay was very nice. We went up there to register with ACE and ended up spending a few hours in the indoor waterpark. They have a up-hill type water slide coaster...

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but screamscape has posted some new track at the B&M plant, They say it's floorless track. Does CP have the all the track already at the park, or is this the same track for their new wing rider?

I looked at the pics on screamscape and looked at my pictures I took at the B&M fabrication plant, they are totally different. Not only color but the job no. that is printed on the track is different. Looks to be going to a different park.... hopefully carowinds
