General Carowinds discussion

We're planning on spending a whole day with our 3 kids at Carowinds soon. Usually, we just go for a few hours at a time, but since we'll be spending the whole day with lots of time in Boomerang Bay, we thought it may be good to rent a cabana for the kids (and us) to have some down time in.
Has anyone rented before? What did you think?

Yes, they are expensive, but if you rent one for an entire day, not really a bad idea. You get there first thing in the morning, have a place to keep all of your stuff, and a home base for the family to come back to. We went this weekend and what is worse to me is that they ask you to pay $10 for a locker that you can put maybe a small backpack in. Space for space, that's a worse deal. And yeah, it's mind blowing that people will pay so much, (I will), but remember supply and demand drives the market. Obviously, there are enough people that will pay the price for particular products to set the price that they charge. Simple economics.
