For the past two seasons I have been fortunate enough to hold the position of Public Relations Manager here at Carowinds. This role has allowed me the opportunity to plan some amazing (and some interesting) events and to oversee our social media as well as our charitable giving programs- something near and dear to my heart. It also allowed me to get my “news fix”. Anyone in the marketing department (ok, really any department) can tell you I was always on the lookout for new and interesting ways to get the media to Carowinds; Intimidator wedding, anyone?

While I won’t forget that bride and groom, it is the people like you that have made my time here truly special. Thank you for supporting my endless ideas, my media events and for lending a hand (or hug) when I needed it most; your support means the world to me.

June 22 will be my last day here at Carowinds- but I will take many special memories of our time together with me to my next position.
