A couple of other things i have on my whishlist for carowinds are:
1. Topgun (afterburn) to be painted it same colors but to where you cant see all the rust
2. The music on windseeker to change from the bull crap they play now. I know not every one likes dubstep but if they could play dubstep on it and when you reach the top and your about to come down either the person in the booth or the person on the track yells "DROP THE BASE" and thwn you start to come down the would be awsome.
3. A cliff hanger or what ever they are call water slide where it two slide side by side and when you go down them it feels like your going vertical.
And that my wish list for carowinds for end of this year to next year.

I'd prefer a water coaster over a cliffhanger waterslide. But that isn't very likely.

For 2013 I see #1 defiantly happening. I also see some sort of water park expansion for 2013. You may be correct for a cliff hanger water slide. I would go to the water park more than once a year if they put that in.

Since more original ideas have been requested and this IS a wish list thread and not necessarily a common sense reality thread so to speak, then here is a wild wish.
1. Let's buy back our Schwarzkopf shuttle loop from Africa and restore it and call it "White Lightnin' Returns" or something similar more or less. There is a possible available shuttle looper in Louisville but it is just not the same as having our old friend back.
2. A new Intamin launcher that will launch, like our old friend I mentioned above, straight into a loop, but not any loop. The world's tallest 'loop'. Whatever that height would be? I forgot what it would take....maybe 140' or whatever the height. Then it would enter a very large, sweeping, raised and highly banked 540* helix and return back into the world's highest Zero-G roll. Then an airtime hill into a large cobra roll then into a 360* high banked raised helix (just like Intimidator but up instead of diving down) then another airtime hill back to the station. It would be called "Lightnin' Strikes Again."
OK, now roll your eyes, tell me I am crazy or tell me you love it.

I actually have thought for the longest time that Carowinds should get an Intamin Impulse like Wicked Twister at CP or Possessed at Dorney and just name it "White Lightnin's Revenge."

I'd be happy with almost anything that is tall person friendly. I'm tired of wrapping myself up like a pretzel in some of these rides.

racing waterslides is my guess for 2013

I am not a huge fan of the impulse coasters but I have only been on two of them. The good thing about them is they take up little space plus they give us the launcher that most people seem to want. My preference would still be a iSpeed/blue fire/Speed Monster type coaster. I am not a big waterpark fan. I average once a year at Boomerang Bay but a really big league water slide or water slide coaster would be cool and something the park needs. I think a great idea is something very similar to Divertical in Italy. That would give us something different, something water related plus a new coaster. That seems like it would work.

That seems to be one of the big reasons they are put into parks. Another possibility of a space saving coaster would be an Intamin Zac-spin like Green Lantern at Six Flags Magic Mountain. That was a pretty fun coaster, especially for taking up about as much space as Ricochet.

I talked to one of my friends who is regional director of marketing for Carowinds. I asked him if he knows what is coming next year. He does know what is coming but would not tell me what it is. All he could tell me is "don't get your hopes up". So it sounds like we will be getting Dinosaurs Alive and possibly a water park ride next year, if I had to guess.
