It seems a bit early for them to start building a simple flat ride. I didn't start seeing survey flags for Windseeker until August 10th last year. This also seems like too many markings for a new maze, especially this early. They don't need a lot of that marked unless they are building something more permanent. Some kind of expansion in this area seems more likely where they will be doing some major work/clearing.

There are markings all the way back in the woods and red dots on Road Rally's concrete in certain areas of the ride mainly the turnaround.Alot of trees with white marks at the bases. Markings all the from Flyers to Taxi Chase. I didn't take pictures. Also worth mention is Carowinds and Great America are the last two parks to have AFX. The motion bases are reported to be replaced with benches at KD and KI.

You know, the area you are describing is about the footprint of Disaster Transport. It could easily go in that area, especially if it was returned back to a standard bobsled coaster.

If it was a new maze, don't you think they would have construction permits filed by now? Has anyone done any digging for some permits? Maybe some permits will pop up in the next week or 2. Just throwing that out there. I don't see cf moving disaster transport.

Well that's one right prediction for me! In one of my earlier post, I mentioned seeing a tanker truck while riding Hurler that has "Area 51 Motor Pool" written on the side. I predict that SCarowinds will be redoing a Alien Annihilation type maze. As far as the number of dots go, don't you remember a Carowinds spokesperson saying that the new haunt will be an acre in size? I sincerely think that this section of Planet Snoopy will be the location of the new haunt!

Defex is back in one of the old picnic shelters. They could fit another maze in planet snoopy. The path over back towards the flyers could work because it's not like people have to go on the path during the day. They could just walk around.
But I like the idea of redoing alien annihilation.
