I saw that too, but they're not bringing that maze back. The new maze also isnt the alien maze either. It's probably just old permits.

I just took a picture of this while riding Hurler! This the tanker truck I keep mentioning, and you can clearly see Area 51 written on it.

It's looking more and more likely that the new maze will be alien themed!

It's possible, but very unlikely though. Let me explain why.

What's the first thing that comes to your mind whenever you think of Area 51,/alien/UFO cover-up right? Right...Well, is there anything alien related about Fury's theme? Nope. Plus, where exactly would they put that truck? There's already a truck inside the maze.

OK, I must be going crazy. I was expecting to see what I saw today mentioned on here. I was at work and I checked my Facebook on my phone and was scrolling through the news feed. Their was a photo on from the Carowinds FB page and it has a blue print of a Scarowinds maze. It had a description written basically saying that this is what we go through when we plan a new haunt and that the next phase was the construction. Being on my phone I could not clearly see where it was located. One guy mentioned that is looked like the area across from Cobra just to the north of the restrooms where the Black Widow once was. After reading that I looked closer and it did look like that. It most definitely was not the area from Joe Cool to the Gliders. Now that I am home I was checking the Carowinds FB page closer from my Mac as well as 24 hours worth of my newsfeed on Facebook and I see nothing. I am lost. Anyone see this also or have a clue on this?

That was posted by a Carowinds Connection member by the name of RollerNut, they took it down shortly after I commented, guess I wasnt supposed to try and figure what part of the park it was. However, it was definitely the old Cinema 180 foundation which took the spot of Black Widow. Anyone know exactly what Cinema 180 was?

Thanks for clearing that up. So I am not going crazy then. If I remember correctly, what was after Black Widow was something to do with Star Trek at some point. Cinema 180 was added in the late 80's. Ah, here we go:
Cinema 180 -- A dome-screen "theater" where you sit on the floor and watch a video of rollercoasters, car chases, fighter planes in flight, and down-hill skiing. A motion-simulator ride without the moving chairs. The building was turned into an arcade in the early 90's.
Thanks for clearing that up as to what I saw.

Nope, it's not the same truck. The one inside Fury is an old Ford flatbed truck.
