What does everyone hope to see at SCarowinds this year? Personally, i'd love to see more of mah clowns  . More sliders would be nice too. So tell me, what mazes do you want, what characters, etc.

I would love a traditional haunted house above Outer Hanks for a SMALL upcharge and by reservations only. I think it would be so cool, and unique due to the setting as well.

Otherwise I would like a jungle themed haunt, or a Pirates revenge haunt.

Just a couple of my thoughts...

Lets see:
Dodgems, Carowinds used to enclosed the bumper cars with tarps and fill it with fog.
Inclusion of kiddyland similar to Universal at some point
A outdoor trail on the level of Smurf Island
Addition of Starlight Spectacular with Halloween theme

Please forgive me as I have not been to Scarowinds since 2005.

What do you mean by above outer hanks?

>Rollernut: Do you mean that Dogems would still operate? That would be cool. Carowinds has to have another place to store the arcade games. I know a lot of the cedar fair parks have a maze in their bumper car though.

Yes, Dodgems operate. FX doesnt have its Arcade anymore during the regular season. Just to point out but in 2002, Carowinds had four arcades: Carolina RFD(last remaining), AFX(SCarowinds maze), Queen's Theater(demo'd for Reptar) and Cimema 180 dome(demo'd). However, there are now claw machines in some old skill games "tents".

Above Outer Hanks as in the old Skyway station.

It all depends we're they put RFDs games. Yea the crane games in under the tent by Hurler was were they had the electric chair guy last year.

> so outer hanks has a upper level, never knew that.

you'd think after 17 years i wouldve known there was an upstairs to outer hanks! i think a jungle or pirate maze would be awesome! it's something different and extremely unique.

i'd LOVE to do a twisted Disney themed maze. haha but that's just my twisted girly mind coming out

^^^^I love the idea of a multi themed traditional haunted house!!! SCarowinds definitely needs a couple of scare zones, one idea would be an evacuation/quarantine type scare zone near Fury. Have some flood lights set with a siren blaring, military vehicles scattered about, and have actors dressed in hazmat suits and possibly a couple of Fury mutants roaming about. I also think that SCarowinds could use a couple more guys roaming the park with chainsaws, one guy just doesn't seem enough. Another thing that the event could use is more themed lighting throughout the park.

Haha, this last one is more for the actors. I think the park should invest in better chainsaws! A buddy of mine used to run chainsaw at the end of Slaughter House, and he says those Poulan saws they use are straight garbage. He says the engines would always stall, or the things just wouldn't fire up. So with that, I think the park should buy better quality saws, like Stihl or Husqvarna. Let's be honest, there's nothing more lame than a Guy trying to scare you with a chainsaw, but he can't because the danger thing won't crank up.

soooo true. last year a clown came up at me and my friends. The guys thought it'd be funny to throw me at the clown, but the chainsaw wouldnt start. talk about an epic fail!

-More Scarezones
-More sliders
-something in dodgems
-Longer mazes
-Reserection of past mazes,(like alien anihilation,slaughter house.ETC

These are things i'd like to see although it was already confirmed on another page that all mazes and scarezones will be returning and there will be one acre long new maze and feeding frenzy will most likely be in a new location along with dead inn

I'd love to see another edition of those comical photos on the scarowinds website of the girl, her boyfriend, and her little sister going through the mazes, and they look all scared, but it's like a fake scared face........ those are a riot!
