I honestly would point towards a strata coaster! "why?" because remember back in 2003 when top thrill dragsters teaser was a rocket in space themed like a coaster car? well it's just an inference :? :D

That does look like a Charlie Brown silhouette (with a hat) on the moon behind the Rocket.

We're probably reading too much into it, though.

^

But I find it strange this is coming out of no where. I haven't heard a single rumor or anything involving something big coming to Kings Dominion, till this teaser.

Look what I found off of a trip report on Theme Park Review from East Coast Bash this weekend.

That wasn't there a month ago when I visited. I'm putting my vote in for the Planet Snoopy expansion.

I dont doubt KD is getting Planet Snoopy, that was always coming. But the teaser says "breaking records...again" Records as in plural and again as in breaking a record they previously held.

Breaking records again doesn't mean they're breaking a record they already broke. It just means they're breaking another record. I'd guess largest kids area in the southeast.

There are two possible records they coulb break pretaining to coasters which would be most wooden coasters(they currently have four) or the aforementioned "most launched coasters" record with 4...they had 4 launchers until hypersonic was removed just prior to the opening of the park in 2008 & are now back down to three since then with volcano,FOF & BLSC.

A large 400 ft. ride along the lines of KK or TTD is out of the question since we would've seen something by now, after all I305's site preps started in june,2009 with track arriving in july of that year, granted we were tipped off in advance due to the park filing plans with the county for a coaster to be built that year.Still there might be room in old va. behind WWC going back toward Grizzly/DA for a coaster to fit as they had plans at one time under paramount to add a Morgan mega coaster in that area but obviously those plans were cancelled.

i would honestly stay away from thinking of a kids area. i say this because there is a rocket thrusting fire out the back while the rocket flies through space. so I honestly believe that it is a height or a speed record. its just a guess
